A Court of Mist and Fury, Sarah J. Maas This was a re-read, I've already read all of the current acotar books. But, I wanted to re-visit the story. Rhys interrupting her wedding is my new fave thing. He didn't need to let off that strike of lightning yet he wanted to be extra. on the topic of Feyre's wedding, the gal literally let Ianthe pick an ugly dress. She only had one request., no red flowers. What's the bitch do? put red roses everywhere. And Tamlin wonders why she left? While re-reading this, I saw a lot more of Tamlins' abusive side. when he let himself explode, it left me to wonder what he would've done if Feyre didn't shield herself. Can I just say how goddam traumatising it was to re-read when Tamlin locked Feyre in her own house. knowing that she could've done better by leaving him (Tamlin) earlier. Now, the mating bond. Garrison Girl, Rachel Aaron . I found this book about a year ago at my local Dymocks. I feel so bad that I only got to reading it now. I wish this book could've been longer! A noble girl named Rosalie, was getting an arranged marriage to a man she barely knew. Her father gives her a year before she turns seventeen to do whatever she wishes. Rosalie decides to join the Garrison, and do what little she can before she's married off. She ends up with Jax as the commander of her unit. He has a reputation for killing off his squad members. Basically, Rosalie falls for him after training sessions and Rosalie teaching Jax how to read. I honestly thought this would be boring and undramatic. Yet, it gave me Frost Blood vibes. I love when Rosalie told Jax about her arranged marriage Jax didn't go protective boyfriend mode. He tried to listen before pulling the ''But I'm the one who loves you!'' act.
